No Man's Sky Guide: Tips and Tricks for Beginners

If you start completely new in No Man's Sky, hopefully some of the above information has already helped you. However, if you are still looking for general instructions and advice, find below some tips for a good start.

Learn how to do a melee boost

Father in No Man's Sky is usually in order, but walking around if you need to look for something can be a bit tedious. Fortunately, there is a practical little trick with which you can get a little faster.

If you meet R1, run a melee attack. If you do this and then follow immediately with a JetPack explosion with the X button, fly superfast forward. It's faster than sprints (R3), so it's worth learning how it works. The only thing you need to worry about is to exhaust your jetpack when you cross big drops. Be careful there!

Use the quick menu

The inventory and other NO MAN SKY menus can be quite complex as they contain many functions on the screen. Although they can do a lot, everything can become a little confusing, especially when their warehouse fills with all sorts of objects. Fortunately, a practical quick menu offers you a much easier access to some general tasks. You can access it by pressing down the control cross.

No

For starters, you can fill up your different counters like danger protection and life conservation. This is much faster than opening the inventory and refueling your systems in this way. It's all worthwhile to use the quick menu, but it also allows you to summon your ship or other vehicles to access the photoanodes, to use different utilities and much more. It's worth exploring it.

Choose your point of view

Initially, No Man's Sky had a first-person camera and that was the end. After a while, however, a third-person perspective was introduced both on foot and during the flight. You can change your view over the above-mentioned quick menu (below on the control cross). Although there are no big advantages in one way or another, we would recommend the third-person perspective as they offer you a slightly extended view of your environment. However, everything depends on your personal preferences.

Do you know your inventory categories

When you press the Touchpad to open your inventory, you may notice that it is divided into multiple tabs or categories. If you take the exomoon as a primary example, its inventory actually has three tabs: general, technology and freight. Your multitool and your spaceship have fewer tabs, but the same principles apply. It is worth knowing the differences between these categories.

General is the first place where everything you cancel is stored, and will definitely be the inventory tab you are most common. It is the most versatile as they store items, creating new and installing technology. For this reason, from the beginning it has most slots, as they jump in to manage their resources, making things and much more.

Technology will have much fewer slots by default, but it has a unique function. As the name implies, you can only install technology in its slots. That sounds restrictive, but helps you to release places in your general inventory. You can move technologies to the Technology tab by moving the mouse pointer over a move and square and then press the control cross to the right to change. Less technology in your general inventory means more space for resources.

Charge is something like the opposite of the Technology tab. In Cargo, you can not install technologies modules, but you can use it for storage. You only start with two slots here, but can be greatly expanded with upgrades (more below). If you have many resources farms or bulky items that generally take plenty of space, move them to Cargo to release some slots - some items even have higher stack sizes in Cargo.

Inventory upgrades are boring, but useful

The most valuable resource in no man's sky is inventory. Their exomoon and their spaceship have a limited amount of storage space for technologies as well as resources they collect, and everything fills very fast when they start. It is not particularly exciting to gain more inventory places, but it is extremely practical.

Fortunately, upgrading your inventory square is pretty easy. In the space station of each star system you will find an inventory location upgrade. If you look into the room station, go upwards on the left side and the upgrade is located on the rear wall on the left. Once you have found it, just pay the unit fee, and you will receive a shiny new slot, and you can also choose where it works. There is also an inventory upgrade for space anomaly that is updated each time when you switch to a new star system, so you'll take a look over there. Remember that you can also get free inventory upgrades if you repair drop pods that sometimes appear on planets.

Do not forget the multiplayer

No Man's Sky was initially advertised as a lonely experience, but has now been updated to fully support online multiplayer mode. That is, you can invite some friends to your game and travel all together in a group of up to four people. While the basic gameplay remains the same, it's a lot of fun to withdraw with your space buds to go on missions and build bases together. You do not have to tackle the universe alone!

Play as you want to play

It's easy to focus on making a lot of money, get the best equipment you can find, and maximize the game in this way. However, it is important to remember that No Man's Sky is a huge, varied game with a lot of things to see and do. Creating many units will certainly help you in many ways, but do not fall into the trap to believe that there is a right playing way.

This may be best embodied by the different modes available when starting the game. The normal mode is the normal survival / exploration mode that most will play, but there are other options. Survive is like normal, only with harder opponents and certain restrictions to it more to a...

Our test of the game The Last of Us Part 1

In 2014, PS4 players were able to have fun with the game The Las of Us Remastered. Subsequently, The Last of Us Part 2 appears and this time, the developers used a new engine so that the game is adapted to the PS5. With the HBO series of The Last of Us which is in development, it was the perfect opportunity for Sony to bring out a new version of the Thou game at full price for PS5 players. Is it successful? Yes, but we must admit that the game is sold at a little too high price to become an option for players who have already played the game. + Controls + The visual + History, always so poignant + Use of the dual sense -His price -Pour of those who have already played there
