Confirming the leaks, Bioware has published a new development newspaper on the fourth installment of Dragon Age, where they have presented their official name: it will be called Dragon Age: DREADWOLF and, continuing with the tonic of the series, it will take place in the continent of Thedas.
They soon confirm that this name is the title of Solas (Terrible Wolf), one of the main dragon age characters: Inquisition. «Some say that he could be an ancient elf god, but others say no. A little later they clarify that the new players will not have to worry about not knowing it, since in this case Solas will have the role of antagonist. According to them, they already gave us clues about the appearance of this character in Dragon Age Dread Wolf Rises, that teaser that they showed in the TGA 2018.
At the moment they have not given more details about the game themselves or taught anything new, although they have confirmed that it will not come out this year, caught by surprise few people. Nothing more, for now, outside that we will not have new news until later this year.
Those who have leaked the announcement shortly before publication have been, to vary, Jeff Grubb and Tom Henderson, who succeeded until the time of revelation. What Grubb also commented, by the way, is that his sources have told him that at least at least at least, and probably closer than 2023.
The last official news of the game, in fact, arrived last February. It was then that Gary McKay, director of the study, declared that they were right amid production.
