Stylish Hakusura ACT SOULSTICE - Interview with Developer] While paying tribute to Japanese masterpiece dark fantasy such as Berserk and Claymore

This project is an interview with the developer of the new indie game that you are interested in. This time, we will deliver a mini-interlocked show to developers Solstice , a stylish Hasura action released on September 20 for REPLY GAME STUDIOS development and PC/overseas PS5/CSX.

This work is a stylish Hasura Action inspired by the classic dark fantasy in Japan. The two souls are born by binding the bonded Hybrid warrior Chimera, and they operate the sisters of Briley and Lute, which are reborn, and stand up to protect humanity from powerful monsters called Was. It has already been supported in Japanese.

Solstice is being distributed for 4,100 yen.

— First, please introduce yourself. What is your favorite game?

Fabio Palette (hereinafter Fabio) Hello! This is Fabio Palette, the creative director of this work. I'm a big fan of USDA Quito, and I've met him here in Italy! My favorite game is Wanda and Giant Statue.

――Why did this work develop?

The Fabio concept stage began in early 2018. Lunch in Europe and the United States is September 20 and is now waiting for a launch on Japan's PS5. It was a pretty long journey!

―― Please tell me the characteristics of this work.

Fabio This work is a Hack and slash game, and I hope it will be a work that will meet the expectations of fans of this genre. That said, I wanted to add our original elements. The main feature of this work is definitely the dual character system. Players can operate Briley and the ghost sister, Lute, simultaneously.

――What kind of person do you want this work to play?

Fabio We made this work for the hardcore fans of the genre of hack and slash. However, this work can be played easily, and there are various game players options. Even those who just want to enjoy the story about Brain and Lute can enjoy it!

— Is there any work influenced by this work?

The genre of Fabio Hack and Slash is born in Japan, and its masterpieces are works like Devil Make Cry and Bayonet ta. Due to such a case, these works have been greatly influenced. Near: Automata is also an important reference work. In terms of art and story, I referred to the Japanese masterpiece dark fantasy, such as Ken taro Mira's Berserk and Claymore by Prof. Yagi. If you like these games and manga like us, you will enjoy this work. I think there are many other things you can like while adventurous in the Holy County ALDEN.

――What had an impact on the development of the new Coronavirus?

Fabio Yes, the influence of the new Corona was inevitable. We have shifted to remote work, but it was difficult to adjust the communication within the team while sharing the vision. But when we were able to return to the office safely, we returned to work. This is the first hack and slash work for us. Therefore, it was important to work together in the same place with the team.

――Is it okay to distribute or monetize this work?

Fabio, of course! Every time I see a new distributor playing this work and sharing the community and feedback, I am very happy. Thank you for introducing this work to many people!

-Finally, please give a message to Japanese readers.

CLAYMORE We spent their childhood in Italy in the Fabio 80s and 1990s, and have read a lot of manga by watching a lot of animations they love. Our tastes and imagination have been greatly influenced by these works. I am very happy to be able to show off this work to every1. We hope you can feel the passion we have poured into the development of this work as much as possible. Thank you very much!

--thank you very much.

The Witcher 3 for PS5 and Xbox Series X is not in development Hell, says CD Projekt Red

The Brujo 3 The developer CD Projekt Red has declared that the new Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 ports are not in any kind of development hell. In 2020, just before the releases of the new consoles, CD Projekt Red confirmed that it would make a new version of The Brujo 3 for these consoles. It would come with all kinds of new and elegant bells and whistles, ensuring that it would be one of the best ways to play the acclaimed role play. From that initial ad, there has been no many substantial news apart from the repeated delays. There are no progress, nor screenshots, and many wonder what is happening. Earlier this week, CD Projekt Red stated that The Brujo 3 was delayed for an unknown time. Currently there is no launch window since CDPR has taken over development after subcontracting it to a Russian study. All these news took some fans to wonder if it is in some kind of hell of strange development. During an investor call, the Senior Vice President of Commercial Development of...

Our test of the game The Last of Us Part 1

In 2013, PlayStation 3 welcomed a game that would become one of the best infiltration and survival titles for Sony players. In 2014, PS4 players were able to have fun with the game The Las of Us Remastered. Subsequently, The Last of Us Part 2 appears and this time, the developers used a new engine so that the game is adapted to the PS5. With the HBO series of The Last of Us which is in development, it was the perfect opportunity for Sony to bring out a new version of the Thou game at full price for PS5 players. Is it successful? Yes, but we must admit that the game is sold at a little too high price to become an option for players who have already played the game. + Controls + The visual + History, always so poignant + Use of the dual sense -His price -Pour of those who have already played there

The vision of an independent developer for a RPG

Original text too short. In 2021, there were more than 60,000 Steam games. According to the statistics provided by Video Game Insights, 96% of these games are independent games. It seems that there is an influx of games developed independently. Yet, with this incredibly high percentage, independent games represent only 40% of steam sales. Why is it? Does this have to do with the fact that players are just not interested? With games like Among US and Latham, Hades and Fall Guys, this idea is hard to believe. Noah CAI developer, better known on the Internet under the name of Pixel Architect, has both a term and an explanation for this phenomenon. He calls it: Indiepocalypse. CAI, independent game developer and founder of World2studio, is currently working on his own game called RPG Chief. It refers to a term used by independent developers to designate the end of the golden age of the independent game. However, CAI has its own ideas about the phenomenon of Indiepocalypse. I think we...
